STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM MEMBENTUK AKHLAK SISWA DI SMP N 1 MERAPI BARAT

Abstract:
Learning strategy is an activity that must be carried out by educators and students to achieve goals. It is possible to learn successfully and efficiently. Therefore, strategic learning describes understanding as a group of interdependent elements that work together to achieve goals. Learning strategies include all components and steps of learning materials and stages of learning activities used by teachers to help students achieve certain learning goals. Therefore, learning strategies must include more than just steps or phases involving learning activities; they must also include organizing resources or learning program packages that students will receive. The purpose of this study was to reveal how the learning strategies of Islamic religious education teachers in shaping student morals at SMP N 1 Merapi Barat. The method in field research with data analysis techniques using qualitative descriptive data collection through observation, interviews with Islamic religious education teachers and supported by documentation data. The results of this study are: first, Islamic Religious Education Teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Merapi Barat use various strategies to help students develop their morals. These strategies include: differentiated strategies, inquiry strategies, and expository strategies. Second, the innovation carried out by Islamic Religious Education teachers in shaping students' morals is by holding more extra-curricular activities, in this case the teacher gives lectures and tausiah to students and holds tahsin or teaches reading and writing verses of the Qur'an and exemplifies to students how good and bad morals are. Third, supporting factors in shaping students' morals include the role of parents, the school environment, learning strategies, teachers as role models, and facilities and infrastructure. While the inhibiting factors in shaping students' morals are the lack of parental roles, lack of Islamic Religious Education lesson hours, and lack of student awareness.
