الملخص

The internalization of the value of independence is a crucial objective in Islamic education, aiming to shape students who are responsible, disciplined, and capable of making independent decisions grounded in Islamic values. This study aims to analyze the process of internalizing the value of independence through syar'i (Islamic religious) instruction and the cultivation of Islamic habits among male students at the Raudhatul Ulum Integrated Islamic Junior High School. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were gathered through observation, in-depth interviews with syar'i subject teachers and students, and document analysis. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation, while data analysis utilized the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model, comprising data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the internalization of independence is achieved through teacher role-modeling, the habituation of acts of worship, the assignment of responsibilities to students, instruction that fosters active participation, and the reinforcement of an Islamic school culture. This process is supported by the synergy between classroom learning and daily habituation, ensuring that the value of independence is not merely understood conceptually but also manifested in the students' behavior. The findings demonstrate that integrating syar'i instruction with Islamic habituation is an effective strategy for internalizing the value of independence within an integrated Islamic school environment.
